TO: ALL DOMESTIC AIRLINES OPERATING SERVICES TO AND FROM THE PHILIPPINES, AND ALL FOREIGN AIRLINES OPERATING FROM THE PHILIPPINES
SUBJECT: PUBLICATION OF THE AIR PASSENGER BILL OF RIGHTS (APBR) IN THE WEBSITES OF ALL SCHEDULED CARRIERS COVERED BY THE APBR
DATE: 27 December 2012In recognition of the primary right of the passenger to be informed of all the conditions and restrictions attached to an airline ticket, and his rights as a passenger under the "Air Passenger Bill of Rights" (Joint DOTC-DTI Administrative Order No. 01 and CAB Economic Regulation No. 09), carriers are under obligation to assure that the riding public are informed of the cardinal rights afforded under the aforementioned Regulations not only via the media provided by Government, but also through their respective websites which are accessed by passengers availing of their services.
In this regard, all carriers covered by the aforementioned Regulations are directed to cause the appearance or publication of the Air Passenger Bill of Rights (APBR), for reference and easy access by the passengers, in their respective websites.
