The North Luzon Railways Corporation, or Northrail, was created to implement the Northrail Project, a major undertaking of the Philippine government which aims to build a fast, reliable, and efficient railway system in Central and Northern Luzon. The railway system is expected to further enhance the development and growth potential of the aforementioned areas.
