2025 National Women's Month
The Civil Aeronautics Board proudly joined the nation in commemorating Women's Month 2025, embracing the theme: "Babae sa lahat ng sektor, aangat ang bukas sa bagong Pilipinas." Here's a recap of the key activities and achievements from the celebration:
Kick-Off Ceremony. The celebration began with a NWMC-themed Flag Raising Ceremony, featuring the All-Women Cast Lupang Hinirang music video. The inspiring ceremony was led by Director Arcilla and Deputy Executive Director Moro, setting the tone for a month of empowerment and recognition.
The agency organized two impactful seminars attended by employees and stakeholders:
Empowered Women, Healthy Lives: Cervical Cancer Awareness. This seminar focused on raising awareness about cervical cancer, its prevention, and the importance of early detection, empowering women to prioritize their health and well-being.
Rise and Lead: Empowering Women in Leadership. This session highlighted the significance of women stepping into leadership roles and inspired participants to break barriers and lead with confidence.
The agency also organized activities to promote health and wellness:
Cervical Cancer Screening. In collaboration with the Pasay City Health Office, the agency conducted free cervical cancer screening. This initiative emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare and preventive measures, reinforcing the agency's commitment to women's health.
Free Eye Check-Up. The agency extended its healthcare services by offering free eye check-ups, promoting overall wellness and emphasizing the importance of eye health for women across all sectors.
In the spirit of Women's Month, the agency hosted "Celebrate You: CAB Women's Pamper Day," an event dedicated to honoring the hard work and resilience of women employees. This special day provided opportunities to relax and rejuvenate. By prioritizing self-care, the event underscored the importance of nurturing one's physical and mental well-being as a foundation for empowerment.
"Celebrate You" served as a powerful reminder that women deserve to invest in themselves and recognize their value, highlighting self-love as a cornerstone of confidence and resilience.
#PurpleWednesday Initiative. As part of the month-long celebration, employees participated in #PurpleWednesday by wearing purple every Wednesday in March. This symbolic gesture demonstrated support for women's empowerment and gender equality, highlighting unity and advocacy for women's rights.
Through these activities, the Civil Aeronautics Board not only celebrated the achievements of women but also fostered an environment of empowerment, leadership, health awareness, and solidarity for a brighter future.
